The Pierre Castel Award


The Pierre Castel Award recognizes young African innovators in the agricultural value chain. In both 2021 and 2022, D’Farma Ventures was honored as one of the leading agro-processing firms in Cameroon.

The Conference of Parties (COP) is an annual gathering of stakeholders in the climate sector to discuss and negotiate actionable measures to mitigate the impacts of climate change. D’Farma Ventures participated in COP 28 as a youth-led company, advocating for youth engagement, agriculture, and entrepreneurship as sustainable solutions for climate adaptation.

D’Farma was awarded the Pierre Castel Award as one of the leading agro-processing firms in Cameroon.

The Mandela Washington Fellowship

This is a flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, aimed at training young African leaders in leadership and networking.

D’Farma participated in the Mandela Washington Fellowship, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.

YouthAdapt Challenge

The YouthAdapt Challenge is a grant program for young Africans in business that focuses on creating a positive impact on climate change by developing strategies and technologies to adapt to a changing climate. Co-founded by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA), it is part of the African Adaptation and Acceleration Program (AAAP).
