D’Farma Ventures Ltd has driven and delivered Eco-sustainable hi-tech Agro pastoral solutions across the nation of Cameroon thus revamping and valorising the Agricultural Value Chain in different projects in partnerships with the following organizations

UNDP

The is a component of the National Development Strategy (NDS) that was articulated to reduce the effects of the crisis on populations of the NW/SW in other to catch up with the rest of the country jointly funded by UNDP and the Government of Cameroon.

OBJECTIVES

(i) Restore social cohesion 
(ii) Reconstruct and rehabilitate basic infrastructures
(iii) Revitalize the local economy.

MILESTONES AND TRACTIONS

-D’Farma in partnership with UNDP underneath the Recovery Program, trained and provided support to over 10,000 farmers structured into CSOs and FBOs, in the NW/SW regions of Cameroon.
-D’Farma in partnership with UNDP organized social cohesion activities such cultural festivals, football/handball matches and other cultural activities.

NRC (Norwegian Refugee Council)

The Norwegian Refugee Council is an independent humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee. NRC provides integrated multi-sector assistance, covering emergency needs and linking them to recovery interventions most especially for internally displaced persons.


OBJECTIVES

-Provide quality education to children
-Improve food security and revive livelihoods of population especially internally displaced persons
-Provide shelter and settlements to displaced populations
-Provide and promote access to adequate water, sanitation and hygiene services (WASH)
-Provide information, counselling, training and legal assistance on legal and civil documentation, as well as promoting security of tenure and claiming other housing, land and property (HLP) rights.

MILESTONES AND TRACTIONS

-D’Farma in partnership with NRC trained more than 500 poultry and piggery farmers on fowl and pig production
– D’Farma in partnership with NRC supported these above farmers with three weeks old birds and 2 months old piglets.

INTERSOS

INTERSOS is an independent Organisation, partnering with numerous local associations and organisations as well as with the main European and international institutions and agencies with the aim of mapping and responding to the risks and protection needs of the population.

OBJECTIVES

-INTERSOS focused on consolidating activities to support agricultural production and livestock breeding through the distribution of seeds and agricultural tools, essential for the population to strengthen their autonomy and resilience in the face of growing food insecurity.
-Provided psychological and psychosocial support to vulnerable populations affected by the crisis..
-Support vulnerable people in acquiring civil documents, conduct awareness-raising sessions and distribute dignity kits for women and girls.

MILESTONES AND TRACTIONS

-D’Farma in partnership with Intersos trained more than 350 farmers on innovative agricultural techniques.
– D’Farma in partnership with Intersos supported these above farmers with tools and equipment.

PDCVA (Agricultural Infrastructure and Value Chain Development Project)

The Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (PD-CVA) is a tool for implementing the vision of Cameroon which aims to strengthen its role as an agricultural power in the sub-region of Central Africa sub region, embraced in 2009. This vision is operationalized through the 2010-2020 Growth and Employment Strategy Paper (GESP) that focuses on three pillars namely: growth, employment and governance and strategic management of the State.

OBJECTIVES
(i) Improve the competitiveness of the oil palm, plantain and pineapple value chains
(ii) Create jobs, especially for the youths
(iii) Sustainably improve the incomes of targeted crop sector stakeholders.

MILESTONES AND TRACTIONS
-D’Farma has trained more than 2500 plantain farmers on innovative techniques in chips and plantain flour production
-D’Farma has been contracted to set up different transformation units across the nation

PIDMA (Programme D’investissement et de Developpement des Marches Agricoles)

It focused on the increase of supply and added value of cassava, corn and sorghum products from beneficiaries who are agricultural farms, cooperatives and small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises.

OBJECTIVES
(i) Support for production, processing and marketing
(ii) Capacity building and institutional support for public services
(iii) Financing support through partner banks.

MILESTONES AND TRACTIONS
-D’Farma trained more than 2000 maize farmers on innovative techniques in maize production from 2017 to 2019
-D’Farma produced more than 195 tons of food maize marketed to different agribusiness such as SPC and CFC.
-Created employment for 52 youth during the project implementation
